Sometimes We Feel That One Individual's Action Is Very Insignificant. Then We Think, Of Course, That Effects Should Come From Channeling Or From A Unifying Movement. But The Movement Of The Society, Community Or Group Of People Means Joining Individuals. Society Means A Collection Of Individuals, So That Initiative Must Come From Individuals. Unless Each Individual Develops A Sense Of Responsibility, The Whole Community Cannot Move. So Therefore, It Is Very Essential That We Should Not Feel That Individual Effort Is Meaningless- You Should Not Feel That Way. We Should Make An Effort.

As Long As I Am Alive, I Am Fully Committed To Amity Between Tibetans And Chinese. Otherwise There's No Use.

In A Free Country, America, Or India, And Japan, And Many Places, Democracy Country, Free Country, But Still Within The Sort Of Rule Of Law, Some Injustice, Some Sort Of Problems, Some Discrimination, And Also Some Sort Of Scandals Or The Corruptions. These Things, You See, They Are Always In My Mind, I Think Many People Agree, Lack Of Moral Principle.

When A Person Is In A Miserable Situation, Then, Yes, It Is Difficult To Develop Genuine Compassion Toward Others. That's Why I Find It Difficult To Say To Poor People, "please Have Compassion Toward Millionaires." That's Not Easy.

Contemplating The Suffering Which Is Unbearable To Us, And Is Unbearable To Others, Too, Can Produce Awake Mind, Which Arises From The Compassion That Wishes To Free All Living Beings From Suffering.
