Someone Asked Me Whether I Was Aware Of All The People Out There Who Were Praying For The President. And I Had To Say, "yes, I Am. I've Felt It. I Believe In Intercessory Prayer." But I Couldn't Help But Say To That Questioner After He'd Asked The Question That - Or At Least Say To Them That If Sometimes When He Was Praying He Got A Busy Signal, It Was Just Me In There Ahead Of Him.

For Too Long, Too Many People Dependent On Social Security Have Been Cruelly Frightened By Individuals Seeking Political Gain Through Demagoguery And Outright Falsehood, And This Must Stop.

Only When The Human Spirit Is Allowed To Invent And Create, Only When Individuals Are Given A Personal Stake In Deciding Economic Policies And Benefiting From Their Success - Only Then Can Societies Remain Economically Alive, Dynamic, Prosperous, Progressive And Free.

This Is Not The Time For Political Fun And Games. This Is The Time For A New Beginning. I Ask You Now To Put Aside Any Feelings Of Frustration Or Helplessness About Our Political Institutions And Join Me In This Dramatic But Responsible Plan To Reduce The Enormous Burden Of Federal Taxation On You And Your Family.
