All Religions Try To Benefit People, With The Same Basic Message Of The Need For Love And Compassion, For Justice And Honesty, For Contentment.

We May Now Have Reached A Point Where This Gap In Our Make-up Has Become Unsustainable; Partly Because What In The Past Would Have Counted As Material Plenty Has Become The Norm For The Majority In Much Of The World; And Partly Because The Slow Retreat Of Religion That Coincided With The Spread Of A Capitalist Economy Has Left A Gaping Hole In Millions Of People's Lives. We Have To Make A Sustained Effort, Again And Again, To Cultivate The Positive Aspects Within Us.

Those Who Suffer From An Exaggerated Sense Of Their Own Ability And Accomplishment Are Continually Subject To Frustration, Disappointment, And Rage When Reality Intrudes And The World Doesn't Validate Their Idealized View Of Themselves.

When The Days Become Longer And There Is More Sunshine, The Grass Becomes Fresh And, Consequently, We Feel Very Happy. On The Other Hand, In Autumn, One Leaf Falls Down And Another Leaf Falls Down. The Beautiful Plants Become As If Dead And We Do Not Feel Very Happy. Why? I Think It Is Because Deep Down Our Human Nature Likes Construction, And Does Not Like Destruction. Naturally, Every Action Which Is Destructive Is Against Human Nature. Constructiveness Is The Human Way. Therefore, I Think That In Terms Of Basic Human Feeling, Violence Is Not Good. Non-violence Is The Only Way.
