Goodness Is About Character - Integrity, Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Moral Courage, And The Like. More Than Anything Else, It Is About How We Treat Other People.

If Anything, We Older People Yearn For A Peaceful World Even More Than Young People Do. We Are The Ones Who Lost Friends Or Relatives In Some War. We Are The Ones Who Have Lived A Lifetime Of Seeing And Reading About Human Suffering.

If They [liberals] Didn't Believe We Were Mean Spirited They Couldn't Stay Liberal. They Have To Believe They Mean Better Than Us, But We Don't Have To Believe That We Mean Better Than Them. We Have To Believe That We Do Better Than Them. We Measure Morality By What Happens Not What Is Intended.

When I See The Mostly Young People Of Occupy Wall Street - A Mixture Of The Bored, The Nihilistic, The Seekers Of Excitement, The Left-wing True Believers, The Confused Idealists And Those Hoping To Engage In Violence - Railing Against The Rich Capitalists On Wall Street, I Get Worried. Because The Hatred They Express Toward The Rich Is Similar To That Expressed Against The Rich By Stalin, Mao And Pol Pot. Of Course, These People Are Not Comparable To Those Killers. But Class Hatred Must Lead To Bad Things. That Is Why President Obama Is Playing With Fire With His Attacks On The Rich.

By Definition, The Moment One Crosses From Center To Left, One Accepts More Government Control Of People's Lives. Therefore, The Further Left Society Moves, The More There Is Government Control Over Its Citizens' Lives. It Is Astonishing That This Obvious Fact Is Not Universally Acknowledged And That The Left Has Somehow Successfully Portrayed Itself As Preoccupied With Personal Liberty.
