An Unguarded Strength Is A Double Weakness.

As Long As We Are Flippant And Stupid And Shallow And Think That We Know Ourselves, We Shall Never Give Ourselves Over To Jesus Christ; But When Once We Become Conscious That We Are Infinitely More Than We Can Fathom, And Infinitely Greater In Possibility Either For Good Or Bad Than We Can Know, We Shall Be Only Too Glad To Hand Ourselves Over To Him.

There Is A Vast Difference Between Devotion To A Person And Devotion To Principles Or To A Cause. Our Lord Never Proclaimed A Cause- He Proclaimed Personal Devotion To Himself. To Be A Disciple Is To Be A Devoted Bondservant Motivated By Love For The Lord Jesus.

It Is Impossible To Get Exhausted In Work For God. We Get Exhausted Because We Try To Do God's Work In Our Own Way.

And It Is Not Repentance That Saves Me — Repentance Is Only The Sign That I Realize What God Has Done Through Christ Jesus.
