The First Lesson I've Learned Is That

I Believe In Raising The Minimum Wage And Equal Pay For Work.

I Feel Strongly That The Supreme Court Needs To Stand On The Side Of The American People, Not On The Side Of The Powerful Corporations And The Wealthy.

We've Got To Reach Out To Muslim Countries.we've Got To Have Them Be Part Of Our Coalition. If They Hear People Running For President Who Basically Shortcut It To Say We Are Somehow Against Islam, That Was One Of The Real Contributions, Despite All The Other Problems, That George W. Bush Made After 9/11 When He Basically Said After Going To A Mosque In Washington, We Are Not At War With Islam Or Muslims.

If You Look At What The Factors Were Going Into The Decision, Of Course There Are Competing Interests And Values. And One Of Our Values Is We Bring Everybody Home Off The Battlefield The Best We Can. It Doesn't Matter How They Ended Up In A Prisoner Of War Situation... It Does Not Matter.

You Don`t Build A Coalition By Insulting Our Friends Or Acting Like A Loose Cannon. You Do It By Putting In The Slow, Hard Work Of Building Relationships.
