The Prayer Of The Feeblest Saint Who Lives In The Spirit And Keeps Right With God Is A Terror To Satan. The Very Powers Of Darkness Are Paralyzed By Prayer; No Spiritualistic Seance Can Succeed In The Presence Of A Humble Praying Saint. No Wonder Satan Tries To Keep Our Minds Fussy In Active Work Till We Cannot Think In Prayer.

Our Lord’s Making Of A Disciple Is Supernatural. He Does Not Build On Any Natural Capacity Of Ours At All. God Does Not Ask Us To Do The Things That Are Naturally Easy For Us- He Only Asks Us To Do The Things That We Are Perfectly Fit To Do Through His Grace, And That Is Where The Cross We Must Bear Will Always Come.

Reflected Peace Is The Proof That You Are Right With God Because You Are At Liberty To Turn Your Mind To Him.

Beware Of Being Obsessed With Consistency To Your Own Convictions Instead Of Being Devoted To God. The Important Consistency In A Saint Is Not To A Principle But To The Divine Life. It Is Easier To Be An Excessive Fanatic Than It Is To Be Consistently Faithful, Because God Causes An Amazing Humbling Of Our Religious Conceit When We Are Faithful To Him.
