The Intention Which Is Fixed On God As Its Only End Will Keep People Steady In Their Purposes, And Deliver Them From Being The Joke And Scorn Of Fortune.

It Carries A Burden Which Is No Burden; It Will Not Be Kept Back By Anything Low And Mean; It Desires To Be Free From All Wordly Affections, And Not To Be Entangled By Any Outward Prosperity, Or By Any Adversity Subdued.

If You Would Endeavor, Like Men Of Courage, To Stand In The Battle, Surely We Would Feel The Favorable Assistance Of God From Heaven. For He Who Give The Us Occasion To Fight, To The End We May Get The Victory, Is Ready To Succor Those That Fight Manfully, And Do Trust In His Grace.
