I Always Thought My Jaw Line Was Manly. I Have This Pockmark On My Chin From When I Was 9. I Used To Get Freaked Out About It Because People Thought It Was A Pimple. But Those Are The Things I've Become Really Comfortable With As I've Gotten Older. My Scars.

I Love Watching A Movie That Is Smart, That Makes Me Think, That Includes Me As An Audience Member, And I Especially Love It When I Know That The People That I'm Working With Also Do That.

It's A Form Of Violence, In The Way That We Look At Women And How We Expect Them To Look And Be - For What Sake? Not Health, Not Survival, No Enjoyment Of Life But Just So You Could Look Pretty. I'm Constantly Telling Girls All The Time, 'everything's Airbrushed, Everything's Retouched. None Of Us Look Like That.

Maybe You Just Have Those Impromptu Conversations, Or Where All Of The Sudden You're Standing On The Corner Waiting To Cross The Street And You Notice Three People Looking Up And You Look Up With Them. And You All Smile At Each Other Because You're Seeing A Little Piece Of A Rainbow Between Two Buildings, And That Little Rainbow And You All Just Shared A New York Moment, And That's Awesome, And Then You Keep On In Your Way.

Me And My Friends, We Do This Little Two-finger-on-two-finger Thing When We Talk To Each Other, Because We're Twitterholics. Maybe #acceptance. I Feel Like We Pay A Lot Of Attention To The Word "tolerance," And I Don't Really Like It. I Get It, But I Don't Need You To Tolerate This. It Is. When You Accept Something, It's Much Deeper.
