The Middle Class Is Both Real And Aspirational. And I Want To Make Sure That It Remains Strong And It Gives People A Sense Of Security And Confidence And Optimism About Their Futures.

I Would Hope That The Senate Would Do Its Job And Confirm The Nominee That President [barack] Obama Has Sent To Them. That's The Way The Constitution Fundamentally Should Operate. The President Nominates, And Then The Senate Advises And Consents, Or Not, But They Go Forward With The Process.

Different Presidents Have Different Strengths, They Bring Different Life Experiences.

Some Of Our Most Powerful Works Of Art Have Been Produced By Older Americans-by Hands That Have Engaged In Years Of Hard Work, Eyes That Have Witnessed Decades Of Change, And Hearts That Have Felt A Lifetime Of Emotions. Our Whole Society Benefits When Older Americans Use Their Talents And Experiences To Become Involved In The Arts As Creators, Teachers, Mentors, Volunteers, And Audiences.
