Think Of The Enormous Leisure Of God! He Is Never In A Hurry. We Are Always In Such A Frantic Hurry. In The Light Of The Glory Of The Vision We Go Forth To Do Things, But The Vision Is Not Real In Us Yet; And God Has To Take Us Into The Valley, And Put Us Through Fires And Floods To Batter Us Into Shape, Until We Get To The Place Where He Can Trust Us.... Let Him Put You On His Wheel And Whirl You As He Likes, And As Sure As God Is God And You Are You, You Will Turn Out Exactly In Accordance With The Vision. Don't Lose Heart In The Process.

If We Are Devoted To The Cause Of Humanity, We Shall Soon Be Crushed And Broken-hearted, For We Shall Often Meet With More Ingratitude From Men Than We Would From A Dog; But If Our Motive Is Love To God, No Ingratitude Can Hinder Us From Serving Our Fellow Men.

The Greatest Competitor Of Devotion To Jesus Is Service To Him. It Is Never 'do, Do' With The Lord, But 'be, Be' And He Will 'do' Through You. The Only Way To Keep True To God Is By A Steady Persistent Refusal To Be Interested In Christian Work And To Be Interested Alone In Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ Has Undertaken By His Redemption To Put In Me A Heart So Pure That God Can See Nothing To Censure.

We Trample The Blood Of The Son Of God Underfoot If We Think We Are Forgiven Because We Are Sorry For Our Sins.
