The Senate Was The Equivalent Of An Aristocracy At The Beginning. Senators Were Not Even Elected; They Were Appointed In The Early Days. Then That Changed, And Senators Did Become Elected. But The Senate Is Designed To Slow Down Out-of-control, Madcap Activity Elsewhere In The Legislative Branch (i.e., In The House), And The 60-vote Rule Was Part Of That.

I Would Love For Hillary's [clinton] Massive Ad Campaign To Be Pointless And Worthless. I Would Love For It To Bomb Out.

Global Warming People Ignore Nature; They Ignore Water Vapor; They Ignore Sunspot Cycles And Sun Activity. It's Typical Liberal Guilt And Politics Wanting To Blame Western Societies And Lifestyles For Causing All These Problems Because It Leads To Government And United Nations Solutions, And That's Where Liberals Like Power Vested. And Of Course When People Come Along And Don't Agree, They Gotta Be Shut Up.

The Republicans Need To Work On Registration And Getting Out Their Vote And Their Early Voters And Absentees. Grassroots Stuff.

It's Also Hard To Believe, Because People Alive Today, Immigration's Been A Daily Event And A Daily Topic For Their Whole Lives. They Can't Conceive Of A Period Of Time Where There Was No Immigration.
