Americans Long To Be United. After 9/11, We All Just Wanted To Be One Nation. Not A Single American On September The 12, 2001, Cared Who Won The Next Presidential Election.

. . . Unfortunately, We Can't Control The Actions Of Everyone.

If We Have The Right Preventive And Primary Care, If We Start Charging For Comprehensive Care In The Chronic Cases, 10 Percent Of The Cases Take Up Two-thirds Of The Medical Expenses, And If We Do More On Problems Like Childhood Obesity, That We Can, To Use The Parlance That's Popular In Washington, Bend The Cost Curve And Eventually Reconcile This So Our Costs Will Be Closer To Our Competitors And So We Can Cover Everybody.

We Should Stay On The Right Track To The 21st Century. Opportunity Alone Is Not Enough. I Want To Build An America In The 21st Century In Which All Americans Take Personal Responsibility For Themselves, Their Families, Their Communities And Their Country.

Democracies Don't Go To War Against Each Other, And By And Large They Don't Sponsor Terrorism. They're More Likely To Respect The Environment And Human Rights And Social Justice. It's No Accident That Most Of The Terrorists Come From Non-democratic Countries.
