Anybody Who Believes The Surge Has Not

Our Country Doesn't Depend On The Heroism Of Every Citizen. But All Of Us Should Be Worthy Of The Sacrifices Made On Our Behalf.

We've Got To Start Also Holding People Accountable, And We've Got To Reward People Who Succeed. But Somehow In Washington Today - And I'm Afraid On Wall Street - Greed Is Rewarded, Excess Is Rewarded, And Corruption - Or Certainly Failure To Carry Out Our Responsibility Is Rewarded.

We Must Be True To Ourselves. And We Must Be True To Others, Whether They Believe We Are Or Not.

I Think We've Got To Make A Case That I'm Ready, That I Put My Country First, And It's Time To Put Aside Partisan Rancor And Differences And Work Together For The Country And That I Can Create Jobs And Restore Our Economy And Keep Our Country Safe.

Our Political Differences, Now Matter How Sharply They Are Debated, Are Really Quite Narrow In Comparison To The Remarkably Durable National Consensus On Our Founding Convictions.
